This week's topic is the waste problem ... We watched a video about recycling with my students. We threw the waste materials we brought from our house into recycling bins. We played our recycling digital game. We contributed to writing the name of our project. Finally, we created products from waste materials with our families.

 First of all, we watched an educational video explaining the importance of recycling and sorting waste. Then we played the online game about sorting waste. I asked my students to bring cardboard and plastic boxes of the items they bought to the classroom. We designed a robot with materials that can be recycled. Our robot's name is Havalı.We chatted with my students about what kind of features the robot we designed has. Then we had the robot talk to the web2 tool.

We have prepared a panel and we also collected materials for recycling and made garbage cans to sort those materials.
Then each child learned in which basket to recycle the garbage and we sorted all of it. We prepared the bags in order to take them to the dumpsters and we put them in the right bins.
Another lesson learned for a better life!!!
We are happy to be the heroes of nature again!!!

We learned the difference between garbage and waste. We grouped the waste and everyone became a waste group. My students who could not come to school during the pandemic process played the waste game with their mothers.

This month, our students are very happy to be animals' friends because we love animals so much.

We take care of them and feed them.

I made compost with my children. Each child brought home peels from fruits and vegetables, dried grass, eggshells and we mixed them in the ground with our hands. Then we moved them into a big box and mixed them with water and salt and took them outside near our outdoor playground to let nature do its job. We will always mix and observe them.

We went out in nature, in the yard of our kindergarten. We studied flowers, insects and birds. We cleaned nature by collecting garbage and dry branches and watered the flowers. Then we drew what we saw.

We built the insect hotel. We searched for different types of insects from the insect book and learned where insects live from the world map. We designed our insect with finger print. Then we went out to the school garden and collected natural materials for the insect hotel. We came to the classroom and built our insect hotel and put it in our garden.
